Who we are

Olive Oil Flavor is a project managed by Sales Tree Social Cooperative Enterprise (Sales Tree S.C.C.), based in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. For privacy matters, contact info@oliveoilflavor.com or +30 698 079 7677.

Data we may process

• Your name, email address, company or organisation, area of interest and message when you use the contact form.
• Contact details and the content of your communication when you email or telephone us.
• Basic technical and security data, such as IP address, browser or device information, access time and security logs, which may be processed by the hosting, form-delivery and security infrastructure.
• When you consent to analytics, Google Analytics may process page views, session and interaction data, referral source, device and browser information and approximate location derived from the IP address.

We do not currently operate user accounts, a newsletter or advertising profiles. Google Analytics is activated only after your consent.

Why we use data

• To answer enquiries and discuss possible collaborations or services.
• To take steps at your request before entering into a contract, where relevant.
• To protect the website, prevent abuse and maintain its availability.
• With your consent, to understand website traffic and improve content and usability.
• To comply with legal obligations or establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

The corresponding legal bases may be your request for pre-contractual steps, our legitimate interests in communication and website security, your consent for analytics, and compliance with legal obligations.

Recipients and transfers

Access is limited to authorised Sales Tree personnel and service providers that support hosting, security, form delivery, analytics and technical operation. Contact-form submissions are processed and delivered through Formspree. When analytics is accepted, usage data is processed through Google Analytics. Data may also be disclosed when required by law. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards required by the GDPR must be used.

How long we keep data

Enquiry correspondence may be retained for up to 24 months after the last communication, unless a longer period is required for a contract, legal obligation or claim. Technical logs and analytics data are retained according to the settings and terms of the relevant provider.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority ↗. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

Purpose of the website

Olive Oil Flavor provides general educational and editorial information about Greek olive oil, tasting and professional collaboration. The content is not medical, nutritional, legal or other professional advice and should not replace official product information.

No online sale or binding offer

The website does not currently sell products, accept orders or create a contract through its pages. Any commercial discussion begins only after direct communication and is subject to separate written terms.

Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep information useful and accurate, but content may be updated and uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Use of the website is at the visitor’s discretion, subject to rights that cannot be excluded by law.
